Eligibility: Candidate pass PUC /12th Exam (PCB) along with 50% and NEET Qualified.
Intake capacity: 60
12 seats through Management Quota: Admission through Management as per NEET rules.
48 seats through Govt. Admission through KEA through NEET Ranking.

Institute offers Bachelor Degree in Ayurveda medicine (B.A.M.S.)
B.A.M.S. course is recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine New Delhi, and in Karnataka it is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
Procedure for Admission is as follows
Application form can be taken from the Admission Counter in the College
Application in the prescribed form and completely filled in all respects should be submitted to the Principal, D.G.M AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE GADAG, within the last date specified for submission of application. The application should be accompanied by three set true copies of all the concerned marks cards and other certificates. Incomplete applications are liable for rejection.

Ayurveda Acharya (Bachelor of Ayurveda Medicine & Surgery – BAMS)
Bachelor of Ayurveda in Medicine and Surgery (B A M S) course of 5 and 1/2 years duration which includes one year compulsory internship.
B.A.M.S Degree Course:
The B.A.M.S. Degree course is of 5 years and 6 months duration and consists of the following duration:

  1. First Year – 18 months.
  2. Second Year – 12 months.
  3. Third Year – 12 months.
  4. Fourth Year – 18 months
  5. Internship – 12 months.

Number of Seats:  60
Eligibility:

  • 10+2 Science (Minimum 50% aggregate marks in PCB)
  • NEET Eligibility

The aims of the Post-graduate degree is to provide orientation of specialities and super- specialities of Ayurveda and to produce experts and specialists who can be competent and efficient teachers, physicians, surgeons, obstetricians and gynaecologists (Stri Roga & Prasutitantra), Pharmaceutical experts, researchers and profound scholars in the fields of specialisation of Ayurveda.
