B.A.M.S. course is recognized by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine New Delhi, and in Karnataka it is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
Procedure for Admission is as follows
Application form can be taken from the Admission Counter in the College
Application in the prescribed form and completely filled in all respects should be submitted to the Principal, D.G.M AYURVEDIC MEDICAL COLLEGE GADAG, within the last date specified for submission of application. The application should be accompanied by three set true copies of all the concerned marks cards and other certificates. Incomplete applications are liable for rejection.

B.A.M.S Degree Course:
The B.A.M.S. Degree course is of 5 years and 6 months duration and consists of the following duration:
- First Year – 18 months.
- Second Year – 12 months.
